Yellow gold in color. Full nose of dried flowers and baked apple. Medium full palate yields the same adding citrus rind, hay, and a hint of lanolin. Sturdy backbone of acidity supports it all. It’s showing it’s age with a wee bit of oxidation but in a way that adds interest. This bottle is still going strong. I imagine a younger version would be simply stellar! Drink up now.

Silky suave on palate, oily, vibrant acidity - clean finish w/lanolin - quinine. Don’t know if these varietals belong together but it holds together just enough to pull it off.
