The 2018 DeLille Cellars Rose follows up the hugely impressive 2017 release. A blend of Grenache (52%) with Mourvedre (39%) and a touch of Cinsault (9%), the 2018 DeLille Rose opens with a wonderful aromatic range from red currant to red cherry candy to shades of teaberry and wild mushroom with lighter smoky undertones that all build in the glass. The palate reveals a silky mouthfeel and wonderful texture and mouth-watering acidity. Bright strawberry and guava flavors greet you, alongside lighter citrus rind and peat moss tones that all connect on the mid-palate.
