Know that the 2010 vintage is all sold out, we're back to drinking the 2009 vintage. This is a medium bodied wine with good plummy fruit, a good bit of spice, and really bold acidity. I find this to be an excellent food wine.

Really solid. leathery lavender plum mild bell pepper, full bodied but well balanced tannins and fruit on the palate. Lingers nicely. Really nice mature wine and doesn’t taste overly of honeysuckle which I think seems to happen with some Virginia wines.

Sep 8th, 2019Really nice, lots of leather and green pepper, some floral honeysuckle type taste and fragrance. Not s lot of fruit, but maybe some dried currant or blueberry.
