Took a solo day trip on my own awhile back and decided to stop by Delaplane for the first time. The staff wasn't pouring this particular bottle but recommended it. Slightly disappointed but still very enjoyable. That's not to say I won't buy more. Just not what I had expected.

Very good, honeycomb or honeysuckle maybe, some leather, maybe a little violet.

Mar 21st, 2015Nose of honeycomb, some slate in the taste, some plum too. Maybe some rose as well. Not tannic at all, enough acid to be bright but not overly so.
