This is a nice surprise. A 9 year old Tannant from Virginia. Showing red and black fruits with earth notes, chocolates, tobacco, herbs, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves, spices and peppercorn.
Dark inky in color with a short purple rim.
Full bodied and bold with medium plus acidity.
Nice tangy finish with round tannins.
Nice wine and good quality, just not my style.
