Consistent with prior experiences and still in a killler spot. Drink now for the full effect.

Had to fly in the heavy artillery from the deep dish homeland to go with the Del Dotto.

My first Del Dotto and won’t be the last! A gorgeous wine, showing exotic spices and dark chocolate. Plush, superlong finish.

Superb Howell Mountain Cab. Graphite and mint on the nose. Palate shows the same with the addition of intense blue fruit moderate tannins. Drinking perfectly now with some air.

Del Dotto makes some great wines. This one is big with lots of tannin that will improve with cellaring. This wine opened up after 30 minutes and became very pleasant with notes of plum cherry and cassis and a long finish

2012 Howell Mountain fruit. 2/8/15. Great mountain fruit full of blackberries, blueberries, ash, and black pepper with a hint of wood on the nose. This wine is well balanced with big rounded tannins, high viscosity and high alcohol. This wine changes every minute it is opens and decanting would do wonders for this big wine allowing it fully open. This will will cellar for another 5-10 years easy.
