Big bold cab coming out of St Helena. If you like wine that smacks you around a bit then this is the producer for you.

2013 drinking great. I can imagine 1 more year resting and drinking it in 2020 will make it a little more balanced but its delicious right now!

Another Del Dotto block buster! This wine shows amazing 2012 jammy dark berry Flavors with hints of mineral and silky tannins! The wine starts big and goes on forever, with the help of the Sylvain French oak! YUM!!!'

Del Dotto St. Helena Mountain Center Sylvain French Oak - block 1.
Indicative of great 2012 napa fruit. Very dark red almost black. Medium to medium high viscosity. Blueberry and spice notes on the nose.Dried currants and apricots stand out on the palate. Rounded tannins and very smooth. The French oak barrel is very distinct making is a much softer napa wine-Bordeaux style.
