Deep Woods Estate
Harmony Margaret River Rosé Blend
So, so good. Definitely a blood, sweat, (swears), and tears kinda wine.

Jun 9th, 2013We picked this Deep Woods Estate Rosé up from Vintage Cellars on Hampden Road for $14 to enjoy with our meal over the road at Burgermeister - we recently found out they were BYO and couldn't resist a burger, hotdog, fries and wine date to check it out.
This 2016 Rosé was a lovely accompaniment to our little burger date. It's a baby rose pink colour on the eye with elegant red fruit and candy floss aromas on the nose. That candy floss flowed through to the palate which married well with the cranberry and lemon acidity to balance it out perfectly. An off-dry rose with a clean finish 👌
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #tcweekdaywine

I have to admit I've indulged in a few Deep Woods vinos in the past and we actually visited their cellar door in the Margaret River last year with its beautiful views!
The 2015 Harmony Rosé made from Shiraz & Tempranillo grapes is a peachy pink colour on the eye. The nose is rather grassy with a decent acidity kick of cranberries and citrus. On the palate it nearly went down without touching the sides! Easy drinking with pretty red fruit flavours and a dominance of fresh strawberries in the midst of summer. It's one of those wines I'm sure I could serve up an array of people with different palates and they'd enjoy - the rosé crowd pleaser.
I received this bottle as part of the Summer Rosé 6 Pack thanks to Vine Collective. You can grab this pack or one of the other mixed packs for 20% off when you use the code word 'travellingcorkscrew' -> http://vinecollective.com.au/product/category/mixed-cases

Delicious! Forest fruits with a dash of earth. Cherries and berries plus the woods that they come from! Residual sweetness of a rose but a good balance of flavours beforehand.
