This 2016 Shiraz is part of the new 'River to Vine' Deakin Estate labels which celebrate the mighty Murray River in Victoria. The Murray River is one of the world's 🌎 longest navigable rivers, stretching 2,500kms! Deakin Estate are family owned and this new label range is to pay homage to the Murray and its role in helping create wonderful fruit to make the Deakin wines.

This Shiraz is super affordable at $10 a pop. It sees small amount of French oak by way of spending some of its maturation in tanks with small amounts of premium oak chips.

It's a purple-red colour in the glass with black plums, vanilla and spice on the nose. It's super easy drinking and is basically ribena for adults with a subtle spice and a 13.5% alcohol kick.

Available at First Choice stores across Australia.

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #gifted #tcweekdaywine
