Stonefruit, a little brioche, grape skins; little retained sweetness in the palate. Lacks complexity, but more than compensates with freshness and aperitif zest.

It’s time to pop the bubbles (who am I kidding - when is it not?!). Azahara Sparkling is produced by Deakin Estate in the Murray Darling region of Victoria. The blend is made up of 75% Chardonnay and 25% Pinot Noir. And it retails for approximately $12 a bottle.

In the glass it’s a golden yellow shade with mesmerising bubbles. The nose is a mixture of fresh florals and just out of the oven fruit pie sprinkling with almond slivers. It’s easy drinking, smooth, juicy and refreshing. Value for money!

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #sample #tcweekdaywine
