Sep 26th, 2023This is right up my alley. Distinctly golden with a plethora of bubbles. The nose is just ridiculously charming with seashells and warm butter. Chalk and apples with a light dusting of cinnamon. Honeydew with dried herbs and waffles with syrup.
Vintage Blanc de Blancs from the Côte des Blancs and positively luminous. Inherent vibrant and immediately engaging, this has everything you love about champagne. Sophistication and refinement for days, this has many a year left to go.
Well structured and beatific, this grows as you give it time to develop over a couple of days. Very clean with laser focus throughout. The palate displays an autolytic nature combined with fresh citrus and more apples of all colors. Still highly expressive on day two with a long, crystalline finish. In a word, superb.

This is extremely delicious, with Rich top notes of spices, non-oak vanilla, bright stonefruit and a nose of a bit of lychee. Big red apple. Bit of caramel. Mouthfeel is a bit thin but it still sparkles and is extremely tasty.
