It’s all about QPR! This zin packs a delicious punch far above its weight... errr... price. For the few $ spent, we get plenty of fruit, mostly plum, but also a dollop of raspberry, two of blackberry, and a pinch of cherry PLUS some nice heat (whopping 16% alcohol) that keeps in balance with all else and ends with a velvet splash down the throat.

Carnage painting and Sonoma Co. Zin. Dark cherry skin color. Aromas of cherry, herbs and cola. Amazing zin flavors, loads of dark fruit, delicious dry finish.

Very good Zin that matched well with a modestly sweet BBQ sauce smothered in grilled Chicken. Definite berry on the palate and nose with medium tannins. While i like this RRV Zin is recommend some of Deloach’s individual vineyard Zins as well.

Solid if somewhat mediocre - been trying to find an affordable Cali Zin preferably from Sonoma and we enjoyed this but were not blown away. Little hot, lacking concentration & complexity but did have nice red fruit & spice. Lighter weight without much guts - tricky pairing
