Floral with sour cherry and tart cranberry. Noticeable tannins with medium acidity. Really shined with pizza and salad for lunch.

Not overly aromatic, but a hint of cherry pie, and maybe some slightly earthy/gamey aromas. Very soft fruit flavours (cherry, bubblegum). Chalky texture. Not an awful lot going on.

This is a ridiculously good wine at a price that once again reminds me that the old world is where you should spend your money. This is so interesting. Bittersweet chocolate, red fruits, fresh earth, herbal background. Perfectly balanced, bright acidity that gives it vitality. The bottle was gone before realizing it. This was the 2017, really did well with traditional pasta dish and particularly compatible with fresh Romano cheese.

Benefitted greatly from a few hours open - some roses on the nose, with classic Malbec weight in the mouth that became cherry with time.
