Sep 22nd, 2019Juicy raspberry nose with a hint of heat and smoke. Smells like a delicious zin! Yummy smokey berry berry goodness on the palate with a pinched astringent uplifting tongue in the finish.

May 25th, 2018Quite smoky, notes of bay leaf, thyme, and meat. An interesting take on zin. Not what I was expecting but a welcome experience. Definitely not your grandma’s fruit bomb.

Nov 18th, 2017After 40 inches of rain the sun is back. Freshly picked raspberry straight off the vine, white pepper, and loaded with purity. Rebirth!

Aug 30th, 2017Drinkable Zin. Fruit is ripe, but remains fresh. It’s bramble and blood, just a touch of herbs. Finishes with mouthwatering acidity. Drink up!

The exchange between when you feel the weight of the wine hit the palate and when it goes weightless on the finish is extraordinary. Somewhere in between you'll be convinced a cloying finish is coming, only to be dazzled by Ehren Jordan's brilliance.
So pure that it evoked the memory of when I was 10 years old and would venture off from my grandparents' house with a bucket in my hand into the woods of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in search of these wild raspberries. Just like this wine, I didn't stop when the bucket was full and the evidence was on my face.
