Rosé, 75/25 blend of Syrah and Viognier. Light golden yellow and salmon pink tinge. Floral aroma with a hint of sulfite on initial pour, but it’s over-chilled. Slight spritz, good acidity and minerality on finish. Black pepper, cherry, peach and citrus flavors, slightly frothy, all flavors delicate. This wine is all about the light acidity, creaminess and the textures. This is not your typical still table wine (but so true of some many wines from this producer). Well made but most of all, fun! Sure to please a diverse group of even casual wine drinkers. Apparently a byproduct of forest fires, so goodbye red wine version, hello Rosé! Not quite bone dry, and better for it, given the style

Black cherry, raspberry, vanilla, licorice, oak and hints of white pepper. Excellent structure and soft tannins.

So delicious & perfect for late summer grilling!! Fresh BlackBerries and dark earth and flowers. All of her winds have a certain lightness to them in a beautiful way 💜

Southern Oregon is oft overshadowed by its northerly neighbors in the Willamette. But these fringe appellations often offer stunning value - and a welcome reprieve from Pinot at times. This Syrah/Viognier blend makes clear its Northern Rhône inspiration - a lean varietal expression that finds breadth through a piercingly bright acidic through line. Brambly, yet precise - it tastes of muddled raspberry, bacon drippings, sweat, crushed minerals and sweet wilted herbs. The perfect accompaniment to a weirdly cold late April evening in Vermont.

This is ridiculously good. 85% Syrah and 15% Viognier from Southern Oregon, presents itself as light garnet. What a crazy gorgeous nose. Predominantly jasmine with intense floral notes and some smoke. Not heavy duty at all here, just all pleasing. More smoke and savoriness on the palate. Blueberries, citrus, forest floor, and herbs. Great finish with spice. Artfully crafted, playful, and just downright delicious.

Third time I’ve had this, each time I’m almost staggered by the nose. Floral and light red and blue fruits pour out of the glass. This is an old world nod being a 85/15 blend of Syrah and Viognier, and although it hints towards brooding it remains delicate and vibrant on the palate. Really pretty wine. Everything from Day I have had has been great.

4/19. Tasty but prefer bold Syrah instead of this blend with Viognier.
