Bright straw gold. Nose of underripe banana and white pepper. Palate is full-bodied and yields dried quince, white flowers, and white pepper. Full body. Medium (slightly) minus acidity (of course). Long dark finish. Classically French expression of this wonky Rhône variety. As such it’s more food-friendly than usual, and will particularly complement complex aromatic and flavorful foods. Cream sauces, pesto, and white spices will benefit especially well. Drink now.
