Dark mix of garnet and ruby. A touch sweet on the nose with plums, spices and prunes. Quite a bit of acidity with medium tannins (5.5/10). Medium bodied with a bit of dustiness and dark cocoa. Stewed fruits too. Medium finish. Drink now. This might have been stored badly too.

This is a A quality REAL Pinotage. Delectables has it listed as a Bordeaux blend, but the new vintages are about 70% Pinotage. The treat in this wine is that you can taste the "smoked ham". Just like when you find the treasure in the bowl of southern green beans. Wait for it- it comes in the finish.
