Domaine de Champarlan Menetou-Salon Sauvignon Blanc

Very pleasant mixture of ripe fruit, sweet grassiness, and minerals on the nose. Full-flavored and balanced in the mouth. Surprising body. It’s got lots of herbal flavors, savory minerals, and only a whisp of fruit. Good (but maybe a tad lower than I expected) acids.

Medium-bodied with vibrant apple and honeyed notes with a citrus rind finish. Was great with pasta in olive oil and garlic alongside fish.
