Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc

Tastes like en zed.

Lemon zest, gooseberry, star fruit, wet stone and a gray balance between fruit and acidity.

I was completely wrong about this wine. It's really good. Refreshing and crisp, not too green not too fruity. Nide.

Nose is wet stone, grass, tropical fruits, lemon zest. Long lasting acidity on the finish. Big grapefruit, lime, stone fruits on the palate. Good expression of marlborough sauv blanc.

A surprising buy at $14. Terrific varietal and regional character

Clean and pleasantly grassy. Not overly concentrated with lingering lime peel notes.

Sweet nose of grapefruit.
Medium full body. Very grapefruity with notes of lime , and a little grassy. Medium acidity. Nice if you like grapefruity Sauvignon Blanc.

Tastes a lot like Wairau River, which is our favorite so far. This one is slightly sweeter. Also a good but cheaper. Zyn says, “definitely keep it in the mix.”
