This is a smooth red blend, with a bit of tart currant acidity and rich blueberry fruits. The slight acidity made it a great pairing for Argentine chimichurri steak with sweet potatoes, poblano, and tomatoes.

Old world meets the new world; fruit forward with black cherries and black raspberries but subtle new French oak undertones. Imagine walking down a hiking trail with a huge basket of freshly picked wild black and dark red berries while eating licorice. Then you stumble upon a freshly built pine and cedar log cabin surrounded by vast amounts of wild rose bushes. That's this wine! It's crazy how 14.5% Syrah/Grenache blend can transfer into a medium acid and medium bodied gem. The finish gives you a serious dose of saw dust and huge amounts of dark fruit for days. Tannins remind you of someone hitting you in the face with Lincoln Logs; it doesn't hurt but you feel it. New world people will be happy and old world people will be happy. This wine comes in peace. Cheers!

My favorite French wine ever! This blend is medium bodied and very low on oak and smoke, and made in the fruit forward -- dare I say it -- Washington/California style. It has wonderful dark cherry and blueberry tones. This is the French wine for people who hate French wine!

Another so-so wine from nakedwines. I had a glass last night and will be interested to see if it has improved with a little oxygen at dinner tonight.

We loved this. Great flavors, not too dry or oakey or anything. Great blend and goes wonderfully with pasta. My husband absolutely loved it. We normally like more strong and forward wines and this was was just a good medium wine. Seems like it would go with anything.
