Mar 17th, 2020Dangerously smooth, goes down like water. Great with Roasted garlic cauliflower soup, salad, chicken, and carrots.

Apr 5th, 2023It’s likable and drinkable. If you fill it, drink it asap. Great with food. Buttery but not overly so. Ok with dinner.

Nov 4th, 2022This is cheap and pretty good, nice butter, definitely drinkable, I'd get it again.

Jun 28th, 2021There may be a good reason for this rating. I bought and kept it in my fridge for a good month or so and then broke it out. But this immediately disappointed me. It was $10 but ten dollar wines can be good surprises sometimes. Not this time. Notes of lemon, pear and apricot Overly sweet, with a bizarre lingering aftertaste. Not for me.

Mar 10th, 2021Bought this to make French Onion soup. It was up to that task, but left me with 3/4 of a bottle. I paid $7.99 and it drank like its price. Medium-bodied with a decent mouth feel. Some pear and honey up front, followed quickly by lots of oak and butter. Something almost artificial about the finish with a lingering astringency. Almost no acidity. It’s not undrinkable, and improved as it opened, but wouldn’t recommend unless you’re ALSO cooking some soup that calls for a “buttery” Chardonnay.
