I’m not sure who the new dark horse is that they proclaim to be the original but the “ordinary” is probably better suited. Decent flavor, light bodied, light tannic finish. OR WA is the better go to for This varietal.

Gift: not my style, underripe fruit, lacked acidity, unbalanced on palate & finish

Whoever drank half the bottle and left me this watered down version got the better end of the deal. Not to be cruel, but this tastes like a diluted Cabernet Sauvignon.
