Signature Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Before we had many tiers we had one. Signature. The best.

Odd flavors.

Nice balance. Dark chocolate and cherry. Lonnnnng finish.

So much better than the '02 which was definitely mature. I wouldn't hang onto this too much longer but does have a little more life. Very nice nose and good full body cab. The good first couple years of the vineyard.

Drank a 2001. Really held together well. Still fresh just a bit of browning around the edges. On the second it has almost a port like quality...

Great wine but was better after 24hrs.

2001 - opened up exceptionally well.

Wow. Very surprised after the last couple of bottles which were either cooked or close to it. The case came direct back in the day. Anyway, lots of fruit. Vibrant and jammy. Hint of sweet tart (aka chalk).
