Strong spicy, oaky, herbaceous nose. Dark, cab-like color. Light acidity, medium plus body, and very tannic for a pinot. Vanilla, dark black fruit, oregano, and lemon zest. More like Zinfandel or Syrah than most Pinot that I’ve had. First California Pinot that I’ve enjoyed.
