A strong Bordeaux blend (48% Cab 25% Merlot 21% Petit Verdot 6% Cab Franc) initially exhibiting harsh notes of asphalt, mellows significantly with substantial decanting to reveal aromas of red berries, vanilla, tar, and earth. Not a particularly complex wine for its price range, but with some patience (and perhaps age) reveals an interesting proprietary garagiste blend.
