Interesting well aged Aussie Shiraz. Medium ruby color with a broad brick/pink meniscus. Aromas of dried black fruit, Christmas cake spice and forest floor. Dried black cherry/berry/currant fruit with additional notes of cloves, dark chocolate, black pepper, black licorice and tobacco. Long earthy finish. Acidity has faded but not completely out of balance. Fine grained tannins. On the decline but still very pleasant. Appreciate you sharing, Ron B!
