Dense and dark as the night. Powerful blend of 40% Petit Syrah, 34% Tempranillo, and 25% Tannat. At 5 years, drinking beautifully. Subtle tannins.

Dark and dense, subtle tannins. At 60% Petit Syrah, this vintage is the perfect rib eye slayer. Delicious, and a bit more elegant than previous vintages.

Trying the 19 vintage of this intricate blend. Still 50 % Petit Syrah, but the winemakers increased Tempranillo to 25% and brought Tannat down to 25%. It makes for a more elegant and smoother taste. The tannins are more subtle. Love the restraint in this wine. Delicious. Still dark as the night, just not quite as dense.

Dense and powerful blend - 52% Petit Syrah, 36% Tannat and 12% Tempranillo. Very dark and a bit austere, should probably age another 3 to 5 years.

Very dark color purple/red. Nutmeg, blueberry, red fruit, baked cherry pie, blackberry on nose. They called this their “wildcard” wine since blended French and Spanish grapes. Soft tannins, light acid, pepper, lovely wine. Would pair nice with hearty meat dish like steak, turkey, or lamb.
