What a wine, it make your heart rate increase. Compared to mountain cabs of the Napa Valley, this is less robust and more refined. Loaded with layers. Dark cherries, raspberries, marzipan, ginger, coffee bean, herbs, rooibos, rocks, sweet tobacco leaf, preserves and a lot more. The wine is concentrated, long, deep, and fresh, with silky tannins and a long, long finish. It has that ultra- premium feel to it that is very appealing. The team at Daou has accomplished something spectacular with Patrimony.
