The 21 estate cab. Beautiful. Savoring the pre-acquisition vintages.

The 2019 Estate cab. Constrained tannins and plenty of fruit. Early and already so good. Can’t wait to revisit with some more age.

The ‘18 Estate Cab. Still young, but already delicious. Not much air needed. Layers of red and black fruit. Enjoyed this on inauguration night. 😊🇺🇸🍷

Earthy and layered fruit. Best estate Daou cab I have had.

Beautiful cab, still young - very firm tannins. This wine should age really well. Occasion: Colin’s decision to go to Berkeley. Go Bears!

The 2017 Estate cab is wonderful. Perfectly balanced fruit and structure. Red fruit and cassis notes, with a long finish.

Big tag / big wine. Properly the biggest wine out of Paso Robles that I ever tried. Beautiful, well balanced wine with plenty time to age!

Affirming previous rating. This is a big cab, well balanced. Very appropriate for Father's Day. Layers of complexity come to the fore as the wine opens up. Smooth and delicious, with hints of vanilla and cassis. In September Wine Spectator rated 94 Pts. Also no 89 on WS top 100 '17 list.
