Mixed aromas of slight sour red cherry,delicate tabacco, white pepper, lavender. Med body, high acid, med p intensity, med to med ptannin, soft and delicate texture, hint of solinity. Drink with parmaseno, plin con ragu, maialino con sale e pepe. Pretty suprising how this wine keep its acid over 20 years...I think this wine needs more fruitness...+) aroma opens up after decnating, hint of oxidized cherry, mushroom. Man! I'm thinking some nice porcini mushroom pizza!
+) after an hours and half, it softwns it up and kt really shows its character. Acidity is still high but aromas are getting more soft and delicate, elegant.
