Dancing Crow Vineyards
Kelsey Bench Old Stake 1901 Vineyard Zinfandel Blend
Maybe some time will help the flavors to meld together. Right now without much air time, nose is closed, flavors are smoky bar-b-q with underripe blackberries, some red cheery, brambles, bit of bramble… almost no tannin medium finish

Feb 27th, 2021Perhaps this wine would be better described as a field blend rather than Delectable’s take as being a Zinfandel blend. But, hey...you have to start somewhere; particularly with 8+ varietals in the mix. Paired it up with Armenian chicken Shish Kebab and the usual suspects. Pretty damn perfect. (The wine really shows itself after 30/45 minutes in decanter.)
