Fruity on the nose with blackberries, figs, cooked plums, raisins, chocolate, coffee, alcohol, smoke, spices and black pepper.
Bold and full-bodied with high acidity and great long legs.
Dry and Fruit forward on the palate. Almost sweet but with enough acidity to balance it, with blackberries, plums, black currants, chocolate, spices, Wood, licorice, cloves, tobacco, sweet cherries and peppercorn.
Nice finish with firm, tangy tannins.
Great right out of the bottle.I Enjoyed it by itself, but it will be good with grilled meats. Great mouthfeel, good and inexpensive.
