Sunrise Hill Vineyard Pinot Noir

Thin, dry, a little acidic.

Black cherry, raspberry, pepper, loamy earth, spice and oak. Great structure and well-integrated tannins.

Bit of a bruised apple flavor on first open but very nice now. Dry and lively.

Nice flavor and mouthfeels!

Bitter in that ok way of coffee or broccoli rabe or barely sweetened chocolate without the sweetness.

Dry, bitey and light on mouthfeel. Good

Spicy and medium bodied. Excellent with our spicy teriyaki salmon filets this evening.

While we were looking for a light wine this came through as overly acidic and sharp.

Nose has some complexity but very thin palate.

Maybe I am just not getting the upstate Pinots yet.
