Had with BBQ butterflied lamb. Spices and red fruit on the nose with some tobacco. On the palate, balanced acidity and tannins. Black currants and a little vanilla from the new oak. Whilst very approachable, Still got many years in it. Good example of Aussie cool climate Cabernet.
