Dalton Winery
Oak Aged Shiraz
A pleasant wine with tannic backbone and pepper in the flavor of blackberries and dark fruits. Straight forward finish of medium length.

Ruby red on the eye.
Mostly Berries on the nose.
Fruit and a hint of pepper and some oak with medium body in the mouth.
Medium finish with a hint of dryness.
Didn't pair well with homemade hummus and falafel. Was better after the meal.
All in all pleasent ,yet not impressive. Felt the same way about the petit sirah from the same series. Good value for money, though.
