Pleasantly surprised with this California Dolcetto, much richer fruit than usual helps smooth some of the grape's rougher edges. Very spicy, a bitter green tomato leaf flavor, and solid tannin make a nice wine. Smell like that green tomato leaf too. It would be real good with food, bolognese, ragu, or bistecca

Similar to last tasting. Served with lamb and mint pesto and paired quite nicely
