Everything you want in a Barolo. Dried cherries, cranberries, and pomegranate. The classic tar, roses and dried herb complexity comes through beautifully. The acidity is singing, but the tannins demand food (or at least 5 more years)

Tar, tea leaves, leather, rosemary, cinnamon, red currant, cream. Low-medium tannins. Needs steak.

Smoke & Cocoa nose! Something funky deep, decaying roses & tar ( if you will).
The palate is bright and rich, with perfect acidity to beckon another sip.
A 13 year old…I bet it has a few more years to go. As one @Delectable Wine reviewer said, we don’t deserve Barolo.
Well, here’s to undeserving enjoyment.
It has that lick your teeth & gums thing.
I hope there’s some for day 2, but ….
