I might have rated this wine before and, if I did, I hope it’s consistent. I don’t usually drink whites but when I do I prefer Sauvignon Blanc. Especially properly chilled with cheese & cold-cut. I haven’t tried other wines from New Zealand but when it comes to S.B, they know how to do it right .

I think I have been operating under the misconception that cupcake wines were sweeter, so I was nervous about buying this, but it definitely is not (overly) sweet. It doesn’t have a ton of flavor but I am ok with that. Crisp, light, a slight tartness. Not my fave but good for the price.

Apr 11th, 2020I like Sauvignon Blanc properly chilled with light fare. NZ is world known for its perfect S.B. This wine is quite nice, I’ve had better but Cupcake is pretty good and the price is good too.
