Mid Lemon in colour. Dried grass notes with sliced pineapple. Very lightly oaked. Light weighted palate with medium intensity and some texture. Cullen make another SSB which sees no oak and is all stainless steel meant for earlier consumption. Drink now.

Lemons, lime cordial and nettles. Palate has texture but is cut through with some sharp lime and Granny Smith apple, clean, mineral finish the lime juice lingering on for some time.

Nose of hay, just-ripe lemon, hint of orchard blossom and very subtle tropical, honeydew lemon hint. Delicate, green-white fruit which leads onto a restrained, savoury palate. Medium-bodied, the delicacy and just-ripe fruit tones have more strength, lift and energy than is first apparent. The finish is clean, floral, grassy and lemon pippy in a precocious young Semillon way, but it lasts and is delightful while it lingers. Tight, refreshing and geared for food.

2013: 68% Semillon. Light nose, but great broad and fresh palate. Lightly creamy, very fresh. Light pfruit.

Exceptionally herbaceous and vegetal. Not much on the palate, perhaps going through a dumb phase?
