
A fresher and leaner version of Argentinian malbec... The nose shows some dark cherry, almond, meat juice, mocha. This is fairly usual. The palate shows a great acid backbone which is actually the greatest asset of this wine, making it slightly unbalanced. There is a black cherry note all along and some typical grainy malbec tannins but this lacks structure, balance and matter that I usually expect from argentinian malbec. The finish is fruity and rather short. This reminds me of very cheap Cahors I had that where not that impressive...
