Top Notes For
"Odedi"

Dark ruby in color with a purple rim.

Fruity on the nose with blueberries, sweet plums, sweet cherries, red candy, vanilla, spices, cinnamon, wet leaves, light earth, vegetables and black pepper.

Medium bodied with medium plus acidity.

Dry on the palate with cherries, cranberries, raspberries, wood, licorice, earth, spices, peppercorn, leather, tobacco and herbs.

Medium finish with fine grained tannins and tart raspberries.

This Argentinian Malbec is light and unbalanced. Drinkable and better with food. The nose is very attractive, but the palate is disappointing. Not very complex at all, with an aftertaste. Not my style.

Wine Enthusiasts 83 points.

Needs 90 minutes to open up and show some tannins.

Aged for 9 months in French (70%) and American oak barrels.

12.5% alcohol by volume.

80 points.

$15.

Pretty good example of what I'm wanting when we pick out a Malbec. Fig, cherry, and a nice peppery finish. I'd like to see how this may taste in a few years.

Plum and sweet black cherry nose. Cab like with soft tannins. Rachel and Matt like lighter than expected

Very strong and robust, even for a Malbec. I like it, but not for an "everyday" wine.

Very smooth and light, but maybe too light for my Malbec taste.

It's got an interesting non-Malbec kinda of taste to it but it's enjoyable. Need food with it
