A big wine that takes a good deal of air to open up. It definitely brought some heat, not surprising given the 14.2% ABV. It could have aged a bit more, but was enjoyable nonetheless. Flavors of black cherry, oak, and a bit of vanilla. 88% Syrah, 7% Petite Sirah, 5% Mourvèdre. 11/14/21.

Rich and jammy in style; makes for a good wine pairing with smoked meats. Plums with blueberry jam, vanilla, and just a hint of that Syrah savoriness.
