Crush94.
The Knife Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
This bottle a bit tighter than my last one. Strong tannins and acidity on the open. Fruit is ripe, plum, blackberry, black cherry. Graphite, minerality, nice grippy mouthfeel. Good finish.

Feb 29th, 2024This bottle reminds me more of my first bottle. Ready to drink, pretty much pnp. Medium ruby colored. Not much on the nose. But nice black and blue fruit upfront, silky tannins, nice soft mouthfeel, mid palate of milk chocolate, light caramel, red licorice, lead pencil shavings. Really enjoyable.

Aug 23rd, 2023Feels a bit lighter bodied than what I recall from last bottles. Fruit milder and tannins lighter.

Dec 1st, 2022Ripe black and blue fruit. Nice balance with silky tannins. Well structured. Nice mid palate of chocolate and a good finish. This is my first bottle of the 17s and pretty impressed.

Sep 10th, 2022Nice ruby color. Long viscous legs. More red than black fruit on the nose. Ripe red cherry, raspberry, oaky, moderate earthiness, velvety tannins, nice acidity. Really opened up after 45 min+.
