Ruby with aromas of berry fruit and nutty herb spice aromas. On the palate flavors of raspberry and cherry with, spice, tea and licorice notes, lively acidity adding herb notes. Long finish, fine tannins ending with bright spicy mineral tones. Nice!

Hawthorn, sour cherry, dried herbs, VA, cotton candy, no oak influence. Juicy cherry, red flowers, and sweet on the palate. Medium plus acidity, diminished tannins, medium plus abv. Bright ruby.

Still life of Crowley with keyboard. Tyson & Co. are something to write home about. #localwine

A good bit leaner than 2012, with more mineral notes in the nose. Fruit is medium plum rather than berry fruit. Acid level is fine. A decent effort.

This is a fairly typical 2012 with dark cherry and plum on the nose and palate. Color markedly darker than 2011. Palate echoes the nose with abundant dark fruits balanced with plenty of acid, leading to a spicy and persistent finish.

This is a very prototypical 2011 WV Pinot in that it is light-bodied and very restrained. Dark cherry and mineralic Burgundian nose, cherry and spice on the palate. Fairly austere. Hint of tobacco leaf comes through. Very much my style.

Light and really tasty. Nothing very out of this world, but overall very solid.

Really solid for the age and price. Bing cherry and pomegranate.
