Very different from the 47 friends 2011 Pinot and from the Hayes Ranch merlot, but also nicely flavorful/fruity. Not tannic.

Lighter than typical California cabs and more like a French wine. Fruit forward with peppery notes. I'd like to try this again when I have more time to enjoy.
