Inky in color with a purplish rim.

Soft nose of black currants, cherries, plums, oak, vanilla, cloves, spices, smoke and earth.

Full bodied and bold with medium acidity and nice legs.

Dry on the palate with plums, black currants, wood, vanilla, vegetables, dark coffee, bitter herbs, vegetables and peppercorn.

Short finish with soft tannins and bitter herbs.

This Malbec from California is unbalanced and simple. Hot at the back of the throat and bitter on the ending.

Not for me.

12.5% alcohol by volume.

78 points.

$5.

Had this at a party. Glad I didn't spend money on it!

Not bad. On the better side if you consider the 3.99 price point at Trader Joe's

Was good at $2 per bottle. At $6 if rather spend more and get value vs price

A surprisingly pleasant wine, at such a good price (on sale for $5.99). Smooth, not bitter or pungent, but light on the tongue with enough flavor to please.
