Wonderfully elegant and understated nose that has some fantastically pure blackcurrant & cassis fruit. Some tightly wound spice and light graphite notes, great but still incredibly tight. Über! Creamy tannins and expressive, ripe black fruit but with an enrapturing and fresh acidity, great but still a pup.

Very different NZ Shiraz to big heavy Aussie Shiraz. Could use a few more years in the bottle to get a better rating. 3/6/9.5 = 18.5 - score 94 out of 100.
