Costadilà
Rifermentato in Bottigglia Veneto Frizzante Bianco
The cloudy brownish-orange (okay, burnished apricot if you're neing generous!) tells most of the story, but the garden fresh tomato and copper notes on the nose tell the rest: natural orange wine. To be fair, there's a soapy citrus aroma, too. On the palate, this frizzante gives up its effervescence quickly, flattening out into a rather simple, skin tannin tinged sour citrus beverage. Besides the gentle drying and lingering alkaline character, there's not much of interest here; think St. Joseph's Childrens' Aspirin flavored drink, and you're on target. In all, a curious water substitute, but an uninteresting wine. Perhaps rather than beer is a good app for this.

Mar 5th, 2014Også kaldet O-X. Funky sag med god syre og noter af både lambic og cider. Der står både bianco og rosé på etiketten, men det er vel nærmere en slags pet nat orange-vin

Jul 30th, 2021Amazing nose, hits you with strong peach, medium-sweet in the tony, but weirdly dry on the finish. The high altitude wines of costadila are preferred, but this one cost less.
