Banking conversation with Erin....
And according to Neal.... cab franc was/is number one wine for the pandemic..... hmmmm? Isn’t any wine number one during this time?

So I tasted this first and thought Cabernet Sauvignon from CA, but it’s a Cab Franc. I know the Franc is a parent grape, but to me all the Cab’s from California taste the same to include this and it’s not what I typically call a Cab (it’s a Cab Franc). It’s why I rated it low and why I don’t care to drink CA wines (they all taste the same). If you prefer that style by all means this isn’t a crap wine, but I just think, region, climate, soil, grape, etc should be unique (not the same all the time)...the French concept of terroir is a real thing

I agree with the other reviewer who described this as inky. Smoky, a hint of spice, rich red fruit flavors, pruney. Glad I tried this unique grape, but not a big fan personally.
