Very dark in color as the name says. Very, very smooth. Only downside is a tad lighter than I'd hoped, but still quite good.

Very dark in color. Some of the cherry chocolate flavors as it opened up. Had the 2016 in November of 2019. Had to aerate it to liven it up. Not bad but not a favorite. Guess I expected more than I got based on the description on the bottle. Felt it was kind of flat in the flavor profile.
